Hi I’m Taylor.

I know how it feels to struggle body insecurities, panic attacks, and a loss of purpose. I’ve been there too.

My name is Taylor, co-founder of the Manaverse. 10 years ago I was overweight, depressed, seeking external validation for the self-love that I was lacking, and I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life.

I had so little love for myself because I didn’t know how to love myself.

I didn’t know it at the time, but the negative self-talk and sarcastic self-deprecating jokes were writing a story for my life that I didn’t want.

Day after day I built up more negative momentum, setting unrealistic goals for myself, pleasure-eating to cope with the shame and hopelessness I felt, then hating myself even more. It was a vicious cycle and I didn’t know how to stop it.

After gaining a ton of weight and hitting an all-time low, I decided to seek help. I started working with a personal trainer who opened my eyes to what I didn’t know. All the magazines I was reading preaching about different fad diets weren’t giving me the information that I actually needed to be healthy and fulfilled.

I told myself I would do whatever my personal trainer said for one month and see what happens. That first month I lost 10 lbs. I was ELATED! Things clicked for me. I realized there was information that I just didn’t know and I needed to be taught how to implement it into my daily life.

In total lost 35 lbs with her help. I learned how to build strong muscular foundation and ignite my confidence. I learned how to get rid the belly fat so I could finally wear that skin tight dress I bought as a goal for myself. And finally, I learned how to love myself by developing habits that fill me up.

I promised myself that I would help people have these same “ah-ha” moments with knowledge and skills I’ve learned. I vowed to help as many people as I could overcome the negative side effects our bad habits have on us. Because the way I felt in my body was too incredible not to share.

We all have habits, some of them and good some of them bad. Some of them we’re not even aware of, but they hold us back from reaching our next level of potential.

For WAY TOO LONG I let fear of judgement or how hard I thought it was going to be get in the way of doing the word. But once I did the work I realized how much the benefits outweighed the effort and that my mind was making the struggle way worse than it actually was.
